Long Live Paradise
Radiant light spread between the leaves of the large trees that populated the area near an Interplanetary Stratocracy outpost, the first of many new bases built on the planets surrounding the star Eta Draconis. The large star, serving as a sun for the planet where the first IS base was placed, seemed especially bright. It was a good day to be alive, or at least it was for Skeeter Bailey. He leaned back in his chair and ran his fingers through his hair. Odd looking for a human, he had long blue hair and green eyes. Well, he only had one green eye. His right eye had no iris to speak of. To be fair, he was rather mundane looking compared to the other humans he knew, not to mention the other species that he encountered on a regular basis. The blue-haired man smiled and checked his watch. Only a few more minutes were left.
